May 22nd 1927, for the first time in history, Charles Lindbergh manages to fly over the Atlantic, but was he really the first? Thirteen days earlier, the French aviator Charles Nungesser and his co pilot François Coli were flying off from the Bourget airport to New York.Although they were said to be the winners, they disappeared a bit after Newfoundland. Their plane, the White Bird, is still missing today. To understand why so many people are still looking today 80 years after for the remains of this plane, this film follows the singular and fantastical trip of the aviator Charles Nungesser and the strange circumstances of his disappearance.
